ADHD Tips & Tools (from a girl who’s trying her best 💛)

ADHD isn’t a personality flaw — it’s just how your brain works. Some days you’re productive, some days you’re a blob, both are valid 🫶

1. Getting Stuff Done (kinda) 🧃

  • 10–20 minute focus sprints (longer is fake)
  • Background noise: music, rain sounds, comfort shows 🎧

2. Organization but Make It Cute 🎀

  • Color-coded everything (pens, folders, notes)
  • One messy “dump” notebook instead of 12 planners
  • Having one legit planner to keep track of grades, due dates, and other events 📝

3. Time Is a Concept ⏳

  • Alarms for literally everything
  • Visual timers > regular clocks
  • Breaking assignments into tiny steps (like… open doc)

4. School Survival Mode 📚

  • Writing things down immediately or they vanish
  • Asking teachers questions (even when it’s scary)
  • Studying with visuals, playlists, or flashcards 💿
    • link q-cards, zebra pens, etc to amazon

5. ADHD Feelings Club 💭

  • Guilt, burnout, and overstimulation are real
  • You don’t have to earn rest
  • Progress > perfection always 🌱

6. Tools I Actually Use 📱

  • Notes app brain dumps
  • Reminder apps that bully me nicely
  • Cute planners I use for 3 weeks then come back to

Remember this ☀️

  • ADHD is exhausting but also creative and powerful
  • You’re doing better than you think
  • If this helped even a little, I’m proud of you 💛
